Days in the diocese – Szczecin

Days in the diocese

Why Days in Diocese?

World Youth Day is a unique celebration of faith and friendship. It is a good idea to extend such a celebration – therefore we are inviting you to stop and catch your breath before the culmination of the World Youth Day in Cracow. We want to experience that Jesus Christ unties us – regardless of cultures, races, languages. That it is He and He alone who is able to make us a real community. This way we, with multiplied joy of faith, will be able to fruitfully listen to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, not only during the World Youth Day, but also later on every path that the Lord is leading us.

Why the Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamień?

Despite the fact that it is one of the biggest dioceses in Poland, our Archdiocese is young and it is dynamically developing. We want you to contribute to the history of this community so that your heart can beat in the rhythm of the Church on the Oder and the Baltic Sea. We want you to take from the spirituality of the Church and enrich it.

Why here?

Szczecin is a remarkable part of Poland. Every nook and cranny is filled with an interesting history. The tumult of the big city is merging here with the plenitude of trees, and good mood is brought by an onshore wind. Between the sound of waves and the silent beaches, between blue lakes and green forests, amongst charming houses, beautiful churches and kind people you will certainly spend your time well – those moments will stay in your heart for years.
